What we collect

Need a 4th collects account information you provide directly or through a sign-in provider, profile details you choose to provide, profile photos, approximate home-area coordinates, rounds and golfer-availability posts, connection and join requests, messages, notification subscriptions, preferences, issue reports, and technical information needed to operate and protect the service. Email-account passwords are stored only as secure password hashes, not readable passwords.

How we use it

We use this information to authenticate you, operate the golf marketplace, calculate approximate distance, show relevant rounds and golfers, deliver the alerts you request, connect members, prevent abuse, provide support, and understand whether the product works. We do not sell personal information.

What other members see

Other members may see your display name, photo, selected city or area, age range, handicap, profile introduction, round or availability details, stated golf preferences, and marketplace reputation features. We do not display your email address or precise home coordinates.

Service providers

We rely on hosting, database, authentication, geographic-data, and course-search providers to run the service. They process limited information necessary to provide their services. Course and city searches may be sent to geographic-data providers.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. When a host removes an accepted golfer from a round, that golfer loses room access and their round-room messages are removed. You may request access or deletion through your account or the support address below.

Security and changes

We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. We may update this policy as the product changes and will post the effective date here.
